Alderwasley Village Hall Wedding | Peak District National Park
Back in May, I was fortunate enough to be able to document Rebecca & Toby’s wedding in the heart of the Peak District. Choosing to get married close to home, Rebecca started the day off by getting ready at her family home in Quardon. I spent the morning photographing some of her beautiful details, and obviously her stunning wedding flowers. I then headed down to the Joiners Arms to meet Toby and his groomsmen, along with some of their closest friends and family who joined them for a drink before the ceremony. I then headed back up to Rebecca, where we spent some time getting a few portraits, before she did a lovely first look with her parents and bridesmaids.
Everyone then headed up to St. Paul’s Church in Quardon for the ceremony. They had a lovely intimate ceremony, surrounded by friends and family, before heading out for a confetti tunnel and making their way to their reception. They then spent the rest of their reception at Alderwasley Village Hall - a stunning venue that has so much history in this part of Derbyshire. After an afternoon of drinks and speeches, and a lovely meal cooked by Cherry Pickle Catering, we headed down into the village of Alderwasley for a sunset walk for some photos, before heading back for their first dance and a night of dancing.
I loved how intimate Rebecca & Toby’s day was with their guests, and it was a real pleasure to photograph their wedding in this beautiful part of the Peak District. Here are a few of my favourite digital and analogue film images.
