Glencoe Couple Shoot - Scottish Highlands

A couple of summers ago, I had the absolute pleasure of being able to photograph Ryan & Abbie in the beautiful Glen Coe. After being married for a couple of years, they had decided that they wanted some more photos of the two of them, this time in a place that was special to them both.

We met up early on a very dreich (Scottish word for wet / miserable) summer’s morning, but not being faded by the weather at all, we headed down to the famous Lagangarbh Hut. After some time here, we made our way over to a viewpoint of the whole Glen Coe valley, dwarfed on one side by the Three Sisters of Glencoe. We had this spot to ourselves, and as the mist rolled into the glen, it made for some pretty surreal conditions.

We then wrapped up the shoot by making our way down to the famous Glen Etive, whilst also admiring the view of the impressive Buachaille Etive Mor. It was such a privilege to have capture these moments for Ryan & Abbie, in possibly one of the best photographic backdrops in the Scottish Highlands.
