Rich history and heritage is something that makes this part of the UK very special, and working as a Peak District wedding photographer over the last couple of years has been a truly incredible privilege. The stunning landscapes that dominate this area is often what draws people here, and understandably why is such a popular wedding location, blending natural beauty with historical charm. For couples who are looking for an outdoor celebration, focusing on a connection with nature on their wedding day, Peak District weddings definitely offer the perfect balance. Working as a Peak District wedding photographer means that I often get to mix my love of the outdoors and landscapes, with the emotive and special moments that are shared on a wedding day.

I spent the majority of my childhood in the Peak District, making sure any free time I had was out enjoying the beautiful views and quaint villages that are littered across this area. However, for me as a Peak District wedding photographer, it is the stunning vast landscapes and rolling hills that make this a really special location. Over the last five years, I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in many Peak District weddings, from intimate couple shoots along Baslow Edge, to rustic weddings in the heart of Alderwasley, all of which have been so unique.
