Simonstone Hall Wedding - North Yorkshire

During the height of Storm Amy in October 2025, Isabel & William travelled over from Switzerland to get married in the heart of North Yorkshire at Simonstone Hall. Set deep in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Simonstone Hall is a beautiful setting for weddings, with views outwards over the Dales, as well as plenty of cosy spaces indoors.

Isabel & William both got ready at Simonstone in morning, both enjoying a relaxing morning with their family and friends. Isabel chose to wear her Mum’s wedding dress, which produced a beautiful moment during the first look with her Dad, which was completely unaware. They made the short journey down to St. Mary’s & St. John’s Church in Hardraw, where they had their ceremony. All of the guests headed down on a vintage bus from the hotel, before heading inside to await for the arrival of Isabel. They had a lovely intimate ceremony, before heading back out for confetti.

We then headed up above the hotel for a few couple photos, with some incredible views back over the Yorkshire Dales, before making our way back to Simonstone before the weather turned again. They then enjoying some drinks and canapés, before a series of speeches from some close friends and family. After an excellent meal from the team at Simonstone, and many toasts, they spent the rest of the evening partying away, which was truly amazing to see.

Massive shout out to all of the incredible suppliers who worked together on this one through Storm Amy. Here are a selection of my favourite digital images from the day.

The BBC also published an article about Isabel & William’s wedding, which you can read here.
